OUR MISSION:
Founded in 2004 in San Francisco, Bemis & Associates is an up &

WHO WE ARE:
WENDY R. BEMIS is an experienced litigator and
has extensive experience in all areas of trial
preparation, settlement techniques, depositions,
and discovery. Ms. Bemis has litigated against
public and private employers in lawsuits brought in
federal and state courts alleging unlawful
harassment, discrimination, retaliation, FMLA
disputes, and disability accommodation. She also
has experience with other employment disputes,
contract disputes, business litigation, real estate
litigation, and personal injury cases.
Ms. Bemis has litigated numerous cases throughout California to
settlement through negotiation, mediation and arbitration. She has also
participated in jury and bench trials on both the state and federal level.
Ms. Bemis is a former graduate from Golden Gate University School of
Law, where she graduated magna cum laude, with the civil litigation
award of distinction, and a certificate of specialization in litigation. Ms.
Bemis received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth
University in Richmond, Virginia where she received her Bachelor of
Science in psychology.
Ms. Bemis is an adjunct professor for the Golden Gate Law School where
she teaches advanced mock trial and trial skills. Ms. Bemis' students
compete regionally and nationally in mock trial competitions representing
Golden Gate Law School.
She has been recognized and has received awards for her volunteer work
with Golden Gate Law School. Ms. Bemis has also received the Wiley W.
Manuel Award by the San Francisco Bar Association for her volunteer work
with families seeking legal aid. Ms. Bemis now volunteers with SFCASA,
the San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocates as a court
appointed advocate representing foster children.
Ms. Bemis is a member of the American Bar Association, the San
Francisco Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice.

KIMBERLY A. WONG graduated magna cum
laude from Tufts University with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in psychology. Ms. Wong
received her Juris Doctorate degree from
Golden Gate University School of Law, where
she received the Witkin awards for Legal
Writing and Research, Property, and Civil
Litigation Pretrial. During law school, Ms.
Wong served as a judicial extern to Judge
Donald Sullivan of the Unified Family Court in
San Francisco and to Magistrate Judge
Bernard Zimmerman of the United States
District Court for the Northern District of
California. Ms. Wong also worked as a client
advocate at the Tenderloin Housing Clinic
and Women’s Employment Rights Clinic.
Ms. Wong joined the Law Offices of Bemis & Associates in May 2008
and has become an asset about whom clients rave. She is diligent,
conscientious, and gets results.
Prior to joining Bemis and Associates, Ms. Wong spent numerous
hours volunteering for the San Francisco Bar Association’s Volunteer
Legal Services Program where she assisted low income clients with
dissolution, child custody, and support matters.
Ms. Wong is a member of the Asian American Bar Association, The
Bar Association of San Francisco, and Queens Bench.
